Objectives of the course

  • The participants understand the functional principles of a HEIDENHAIN control, of the drives, the position and speed encoders, the machine tool and the interaction of these components
  • They learn diagnostic possibilities on the control and troubleshooting routines, and how to employ them
  • From error messages and/or error patterns they can locate an error and restore the function of the machine by specifically exchanging units or components

  • Zip-compatible extraction software
  • Rights to install software
  • USB port with removable media access
  • Ethernet connection (RJ45)
  • Ethernet connection with cable and a configured network environment (Ethernet TCP/IP)

HEIDENHAIN cannot provide any computers or notebooks for the course.
