HEIDENHAIN Employees Come Together for “Pack the Packs” Charity Event
Supporting our community is an important part of who we are here at HEIDENHAIN CORPORATION. Earlier this summer, employees gathered for our annual charity event, Pack the Packs, an initiative focused on helping foster and homeless children in the Chicagoland area start the school year prepared and confident. The event supported Fill a Heart 4 Kids, an organization dedicated to helping children in need throughout the Chicagoland area.
Leading up to the event, employees participated in a school supply drive, donating essential classroom items including notebooks, pencils, folders, crayons, markers, and other educational supplies. Collection efforts began in late May, giving team members several weeks to contribute and help make a difference for local students in need.
During the event, employees worked together to organize supplies and fill backpacks with the tools students need for a successful start to the school year. In addition to the backpack-packing activity, the day provided an opportunity for team building, collaboration, and shared purpose as employees came together in support of a meaningful cause.
The packed backpacks will be distributed to foster and homeless children throughout the community, helping provide not only school essentials but also a sense of encouragement and confidence as students prepare for the year ahead.

Their generosity and enthusiasm reflect Heidenhain’s ongoing commitment to making a positive impact beyond the workplace.
