IMTS Spark in Full Swing
December 3, 2020
This year’s IMTS event has moved to an exciting free online platform that not only includes exhibitor showrooms and opportunities to chat online directly with their experts, but view daily machining presentations from industry leaders, live product demos, networking opportunities and more. Opening this past September and running through March 15, 2021, IMTS Spark hosts over 1,000 exhibitors where HEIDENHAIN is proud to be positioned and engaging right now.
HEIDENHAIN invites you and your colleagues to join this exciting manufacturing event from the safety of your home, office or anywhere you can access the Internet. No travel or expenses necessary.
On the HEIDENHAIN portal, visitors can expect to find not only displays of the newest products (such as Gen 3 TNC 640 control and new ACU-RITE-brand TURNPWR control) but opportunities to chat directly with experts to answer any questions, view over ten HEIDENHAIN videos of interest to manufacturers, pull relevant collateral materials and more.
On this portal, there is also a section offering HEIDENHAIN Specials such as free web-based operator training for two on ACU-RITE-brand controls through December 31. Other specials include a free trial version of StateMonitor machine connectivity software, as well as 20% off installation of a TS 640 touch also available only through December 31. Check it out and share with your colleagues.
HEIDENHAIN staff is excited to be a part of this new digital event and to continuing to connect with its visitors in this new way in this new age. This exchange of information in the manufacturing world is possibly now more important than ever. Again, there is no cost to register and attend IMTS Spark. Come visit with us there through March 15!

In the series of 15-minute videos called “Road Trippin’ with Steve,” Steven LaMarca (AMT’s Manufacturing Technology Analyst) tours some of the most transformative manufacturing technology facilities on the East Coast. In season one, episode one, he visits the American Precision Museum in Vermont. On display is an old Bridgeport knee mill (serial number 1) which includes a HEIDENHAIN ACU-RITE-brand control. It appears around the 8-minute mark. Enjoy!
