Tool inspection on the control
Save time during tool inspection without removing the tool from the machine or tool magazine. Instead, simply perform your inspection on the control. Software options let you perform inspections at a later time, even to some extent offline.
Automated inspection
In conjunction with TNC 640 cycles, the vision system automatically takes images of the tool during machining, including during unattended production. Cycles allow you to define the image views to be taken after tool cleaning.
Panoramic or close-up images
The camera takes close-up images of each tooth as well as detailed panoramic images of the entire tool circumference. The lighting angle can be varied so that the individual teeth are optimally illuminated. Tools can also be imaged from below.
