Schaumburg, IL – (September 2026) – HEIDENHAIN CORPORATION will welcome students, educators, and future manufacturing professionals to the IMTS 2026 Smartforce Student Summit with an interactive exhibit focused on precision, technology, and hands-on learning. Located at Student Summit Booth #211910, the exhibit will feature ACU-RITE SOLUTIONS, a member of the HEIDENHAIN Corporate Group, showcasing technologies designed to help students explore modern machining and develop practical manufacturing skills.

The IMTS Student Summit offers students a unique opportunity to experience advanced manufacturing through hands-on exhibits and interactive demonstrations, connecting classroom learning with real-world manufacturing technologies. As part of that experience, ACU-RITE SOLUTIONS will introduce the new MILLPWR^CT control alongside droPWR, its application-based digital readout platform, giving educators and students an opportunity to explore technologies that support machining education and provide insight into the role precision plays in modern manufacturing.

Students attending the Summit will have the opportunity to experience the MILLPWR^CT, a CNC control designed for manual, retrofit, and CNC machine tools. The control features a touchscreen interface, conversational programming capabilities, and streamlined workflows intended to simplify machine operation and programming. Developed, manufactured, and supported in the USA, the MILLPWR^CT provides a platform for users to gain experience with CNC technology while supporting a range of machining applications.

Adding an element of friendly competition, the booth will feature the Precision Arcade—an interactive experience where students can put their skills to the test with a high-performance racing simulator, a classic pinball machine, and other engaging challenges. While the games are fun, they also demonstrate an important lesson: precision, consistency, focus, and quick decision-making are essential skills both in competition and in the manufacturing work we do daily.
